Primo February Release Highlights

Show Loading Indicator for Alma Get It and View It – a NERS Enhancement

An indication has been added to View It and Get It to inform users know that information is still loading. This enhancement originated in the Idea Exchange.

Recent Search Suggestions

Primo helps users to get back to their previous search when they type their query faster than before.  As part of the autocomplete suggestions, users can find suggestions based on simple searches stored in My Favorites > Search History. Once users select a recent search suggestion, Primo will trigger a search with the same search term and scope as found in Search History.

Persistent Search History for Signed-In Users

Previously, search history was tracked per session and not saved between sessions in My Favorites. For signed-in users, Primo will now store the last 100 searches in My Favorites > Search History so that they are retained for suggestions in future sessions. Users also have the option to delete their Search History and by this prevent suggestions to be displayed as their Recent Searches.

UX Improvements to My Favorites – from the Idea Exchange

Users will now receive a prompt to confirm the deletion of saved records in the My Favorites, as suggested in the Idea Exchange. Improvements were also made to help users retain focus on the same saved records, once updating their labels, or retain in the same context after deleting saved records.

Support Translation of Link in Record Label for CDI

You can now define the default text to display for links coming from CDI or the text separated from the providers.
