Library Staff Forum: An introduction to Primo VE and the new Primo Project Management workflow
There will be a library staff forum on November 18th to share the latest goings-on of PrimoVE and the NUL Primo Team. We’ll cover the recent migration to Primo VE outlining the various improvements and changes to the platform, including why we made this change. We’ll review how Primo VE fits into the new Central Discovery Index (CDI) that Ex Libris implemented over the summer and how that impacts the library and our users. We will give an update on the status of the Primo VE training that is taking place this fall. Then we will conclude with introducing the new Primo Project Management workflow developed by the Primo team, and how this will allow staff to better understand the work that is happening around Primo, report issues, and potentially contribute to these changes. There will be time at the end of the session for questions and answers.
The session will be led by members of the Primo Team, including Michael North, Geoffrey Morse and others.
